Digital Scrapbooking
If you have
always enjoyed looking through scrapbooks but have never
had the time or money to scrapbook as a hobby, digital scrapbooking is
for you. The next generation of scrapbooking is going digital. With
digital scrapbooking, there is no printing pictures and no extra
supplies that are needed. This course is an introduction to digital
scrapbooking through a web-based company called Heritage Makers. You
will learn the basics such as uploading pictures to your computer and
how to use the Heritage Studio, your online publishing and creative
center. The Heritage Studio allows you to work with 40,000 different
pieces of artwork/embellishments to create timeless storybooks, greeting
cards, cookbooks, posters, calendars or individual scrapbook pages.
This course is made up of two 2-hour sessions. You
will create a 12x12 page and a 5x7 greeting card. You need some
knowledge of the computer, a laptop computer (unless other arrangements
are made with the instructor) and photos saved to a USB storage device
or a CD. Come enjoy digitally creating with us.
